Rewrite the following sentence in the provided space, first replace the subject-name Laura with a topic pronosus; then replace the name of the Amy object with an object pronoun. If you make this module at your own time, you have completed the learning unit to avoid problems with the pronoun – foreground chord. Pronouns play an important role in the English language. Pronouns replace names, so that without pronouns, your writing could be repetitive. Here are some common errors that you should monitor with pronouns. The original text contains a Pronoun chord error. The intentional precursor of the prognostic “he” must be “books”, which is pluralistic and therefore the plural pronovitch “she” in place of the singular pronoun `he` would require. Whenever a sentence refers to a person of unknown sex and a single possessive pronoun refers to that person, male and female possessive pronouns are generally included in the phrase “sound or she.” In this case, “being or she” is a better choice than “you,” because “student” is a singular noun, and “sound,” a plural pronoun, does not correspond to him in number. Taking into account the other potential answer choices, “they” is the contraction of “they are,” what would not make sense in the sentence, “that is” is the contraction of “it is,” which would have no meaning in the sentence, and “sound” is the possessive form of the pronoun “she” that is not used to refer to a person. Therefore, none of these answers can be correct.

The original sentence contains an error in noun-pronoun Agreement: the multi-pronoun possessiv “sound” is used to refer to “the worker,” a single name. We must use a single possessive proniver to refer to a single nomun, and our decisions in this case are “his,” “you” and “his.” One does not use “being” to refer to the man, and while “the worker” is not a sexist noun, we can see that the worker described in the sentence is a man because he used the possessiv pronovitch “being” in the phrases “his green helmet lost” and “came home happy”. For the sentence to be correct, we have to replace “her” with “hers,” so the correct answer is: “Just as he finished work for the day, the worker found his lost green helmet and came home happy.” Some names whose groups of names may be singular or plural, depending on their meaning in individual sentences. Below are personal pronouns. They are cited personally because they usually relate to people (except for things). In the sentence above, everyone designates the voters. Voters can be counted (1 voter, 2 voters, etc.). Therefore, the plural pronoun is the right speaker for everyone.

Pronouns must also have a clear precursor. Sometimes, however, a sentence seems to have two possible precursors. If so, rewrite the sentence. Take a look at the false sentence below, which has a fuzzy pronoun reference: a physical or electronic signature of the copyright holder or a person authorized to act on his behalf; Identification of copyrights that have been infringed; A description of the nature and exact location of the content you claim to be infringing against your copyright, in sufficient detail to allow Varsity tutors to find and positively identify this content; for example, we need a link to the specific question (not just the name of the question), which contains the content and description, to which specific part of the question – an image, a link, the text, etc. – refers your complaint; Your name, address, phone number and email address; and a statement from you: (a) that you believe in good faith that the use of content you claim to violate against your copyright is not authorized by law or by the copyright holder or by the owner`s representative; (b) that all the information contained in your infringement communication is accurate and (c) perjury, whether you are either the copyright holder or a person authorized to act on its behalf.
